Schneider Electric ACTI9 iTL Series Impulse Relays, 230/240V Coil Voltage, 16A Switching Current - A9C30812

This impulse relay is a Compact DIN-rail mounted switching device designed for remote and local control of AC networks. It accepts a 230/240V AC control signal and toggles two normally open contacts to manage lighting and other loads, offering impulse control with adjustable timing between brief pulses and longer switching intervals. The unit is suited to panel installations where space efficiency and simple push-button control are required.

Features & Benefits

• 16A switching current supports moderate power loads
• 250V rated operational voltage for standard AC circuits
• Tunnel terminals allow 1.5 to 4mm² power conductor connection
• ImPulse duration 50ms to 1s enables flexible Pulse control
• 5 operations/minute switching frequency for intermittent use
• 18mm width saves DIN-rail space for Compact panels

Applications

• Suitable for centralised lighting control systems in commercial buildings
• Ideal for remote push-button switching of general-purpose loads
• Used for stairwell and corridor timed switching installations
• Can be used for integrating illuminated push-button control circuits

What control voltages can the Coil accept?

It accepts 230 to 240V AC at 50/60Hz and can also be driven from a 110V DC control source.

How are conductors terminated and what are torque requirements?

Both control and power circuits use tunnel-type terminals accepting solid and flexible conductors

recommended tightening torque is 1N·m with 11mm wire stripping length.

What environmental conditions can it withstand?

It operates from -20 to 50°C, withstands up to 95% relative humidity at 55°C, and has IP20 protection when open and IP40 in an enclosure.

How Durable is the switching mechanism?

Electrical durability is specified as 200,000 cycles for AC-21 duties and 100,000 cycles for AC-22 duties.
