OMRON Power Relay, 53.8mA Maximum Rated Current, 180Ω Coil Resistance - MY Series - MY4 AC24(S)

Bring your network to life in a snap with this 4PDT power relay from OMRON. It commands up to four systems at once, making it ideal for use in lightning, HVAC and motor applications. The gold-plated silver contacts resist corrosion while zipping signals along, so you get smooth transmissions. Rest easy, as you get up to 18,000 cycles per hour, which fits fast-paced equipment like a glove. Thanks to a lengthy lifespan of 50 million operations, you can count on this device to be with you for the long haul.

Features & Benefits

• Plug-in relay slots into a PYF series push-in plus socket (111-3062) to cut out wiring time
• Handles demanding applications thanks to its wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +70°C
• Low 0.9 to 1.3VA power consumption for energy-efficient operation
• 20ms maximum operation time, so it delivers snap-action responses

Applications

• Industrial automation
• Power generation industry
• FMCG manufacturing

What's the difference between single throw and double-throw relays?

Throw refers to the number of directions the relay can control. Single-throw systems only turn off and on in one order, while DP relays control equipment in two directions, such as backwards or forwards.
