The Schneider Electric Detuned Reactor are designed to protect the capacitor by preventing the amplification of the harmonics present in the system. Capacitors and Reactors are configured in Series resonant circuit. Tuned so that the series resonant frequency is below the lowest harmonic frequency present in the system. This reactor is rated for 50 kVar output power with 2.7/135 Hz tuning order at 400V AC at 50 Hz.
