RS PRO 5-Core Screened Industrial BASEC Cable, Black, 2.5 mm², 50 m Reel


This heavy-duty, durable 5-core cable from RS PRO has been created to work in industrial environments and workspaces. The annealed copper cores allow a high degree of flexibility, while the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheathe protects it from chemical, heat and mechanical damage.

This cable's five colour-coded cores are screened with steel wire to prevents electromagnetic interference and keep the cable working at all times. The screened steel has been galvanised, which reduces the chances of the wire rusting and provides long-lasting protection from corrosion.

The hardness and durability of this cable make it suitable for both underground and outdoor cabling. It's most commonly used for industrial wiring and mains distribution.
