Festo Solenoid Valve, 470L/min Nominal Flow Rate, 3Hz Switching Frequency Maximum - VUVG-B14-P53C-ZT-F-1T1L

Breathe life into your automated pneumatic system with this solenoid valve from Festo. It's a 5/3 type, so you get one input port along with two outputs and two venting ports. This makes it ideal for driving a double-acting cylinder. It's normally closed, so you can be sure attached equipment is inactive when the valve is unpowered. As it handles pressures up to 10 bar, it's suitable for use with mid-duty machinery. IP65 and IP67 ratings mean the unit's dust-tight and waterproof to keep processes ticking over in tough settings.

Features & Benefits

• LED signal makes it a cinch to check on the valve's status
• Speedy 15ms switch-on and 42ms switch-off times give you near-instant reactions
• Operates reliably in temperatures between -5°C and +60°C

Applications

• Manufacturing facilities
• Construction industry
• Power generation plants

How do I power up this valve?

This product draws power from the sub-base. During installation, you insert it onto a manifold base from Festo's VABM series (136-6956) and then link that rail up with a VAEM electrical interface (136-6999).

Can I lower the noise this component makes?

Yes, you can quickly dampen the noise and further protect your system from dust by adding a silencer (such as 125-9913).
