IMI Norgren Double-Acting Cylinder, Adaptive Cushioning System, 103mm Length - RA/802000/M Series - RA/802050/M/50

Give your automation freedom of movement with this double-acting cylinder from IMI Norgren. As it uses air flowing through its two ports to control motion in both directions, it's the ideal choice for carrying out precision pushing and pulling tasks. The unit's integral cushioning adapts to the load at hand without the need for manual tweaks, making it swift to set up and simple to use. Robust PUR seals keep contaminants at bay to ensure tip-top piston function. For more complex setups, you can easily add articulated joints (192-8662) to fit your application.

Features & Benefits

• Light weight of 0.76kg doesn't add strain to your assembly
• Robust anodised aluminium barrel resists corrosion to deliver long-term performance
• Wide operating temperature range between -20°C and +80°C suits demanding conditions

Applications

• Railway industry
• Industrial automation
• Assembly lines
• Packaging plants

Can I mount a switch on this double-acting cylinder?

Yes. As the cylinder's rod is magnetic, you can use reed switches (218-0617) and solid-state switches (218-0610) for position sensing. The profile-barrel design means these can be mounted flush with the body.
