IMI Norgren Pneumatic Piston Rod Cylinder, RC1/8 Port, 10 Bar Maximum Pressure - RT/57210/M/25 Series - RT/57225/M/100

Choose this pneumatic piston rod cylinder from IMI Norgren for clamping, ejecting or positioning components. It's suitable to use with small objects, thanks to its short stroke of 100mm. A compact size of 203mm in length with a 27mm diameter makes it compatible with work areas where space is constricted. Cushioning helps to minimise wear on the unit and also cuts down on vibration, which helps to keep your positioning tasks accurate. This cylinder comes with an integrated magnet, so it's ready to use together with a magnetic proximity sensor.

Features & Benefits

• Stainless steel barrel and piston rod resist corrosion for longevity in humid conditions
• Wide operating pressure range of 1 to 10 bar for versatility
• Nitrile rubber seals are long-lasting and durable, even at higher pressures
• Aluminium end covers for protection against dust and moisture

Applications

• Medical and pharmaceutical industries
• Automated production lines
• Agricultural machinery
• Food processing and packaging

Is this a single-acting or double-acting cylinder?

This is a double-acting cylinder, so uses compressed air to propel its piston in both a forward and backward direction.
