Festo Pneumatic Cylinder, Male Threaded Connection, -20°C To +80°C Operating Temperature - DSBG-200-200-PPVA-N3

When you want smooth linear motion, this pneumatic cylinder from Festo delivers. As the piston rod moves back and forth, built-in cushioning at both ends helps to keep shock and vibration at bay. The unit's adjustable, so you can reset the cushioning to fit different applications. With robust NBR seals keeping a solid grip on the piston, you can be sure of a gas-tight connection that won't let air out. Thanks to the ambient operating temperature range between -20°C and +80°C, this device can handle the heat in challenging operations.

Features & Benefits

• Anodised wrought aluminium alloy barrel resists corrosion
• Threaded pneumatic connection for hassle-free installation
• NBR piston seals are resistant to solvents and chemicals found in heavy-duty workplaces
• Lubricated operation possible to reduce the risk of wear

Applications

• Chemical plants
• Manufacturing industry
• Printing presses
• Textile production

What's the difference between a double-acting cylinder and a single-acting cylinder?

A double-acting cylinder has a port at each end to let the compressed air move in and out, which drives the piston rod. In a single-acting cylinder, there's typically only one opening for inlet air while a built-in spring mechanism returns the piston rod to its resting position.
