Festo Pneumatic Cylinder, Double Acting, 0.6 to 10 Bar Operating Pressure - ADN-20-15-I-P-A

Use this Festo pneumatic cylinder to position or clamp components in automated industrial applications. It's compact, with a short stroke length of 15mm, so is suitable for moving small objects. Polymer cushioning on both ends of the piston rod help to reduce operational noise. This cushioning also minimises vibration to keep production running smoothly. An anodised aluminium cover protects the unit against corrosion and dust, making it compatible with demanding operating environments. For your convenience, this pneumatic cylinder comes with mounting holes for quick installation.

• Wide operating pressure range of 0.6 to 10 bar, so suitable for higher-pressure applications
• Polyurethane seals to minimise the risk of air pressure loss
• Assembles in any position to best suit your application

Applications

• Warehousing and packaging facilities
• Printing industry
• Textile manufacture

Is this a single-acting or double-acting cylinder?

This is a double-acting cylinder that uses compressed air to move its piston rod both forwards and backwards. As a result, it doesn't rely on a spring mechanism to pull its rod back, which reduces the chance of mechanical failure.
