Installations subject to high vibration should be panel mounted (as opposed to DIN rail mounted). A 50mm space should be left on all sides around units to provide adequate ventilation.

The Allen Bradley digital expansion module has 16 digital channel inputs. Each I/O module includes a built-in removable terminal block with finger-safe cover for connecting I/O sensors and actuators. This module is used where an application requires more I/O than the built-in I/O provided by the controller. It is compatible with MicroLogix 1100, MicroLogix 1200, and MicroLogix 1400 controllers.

Devices can be connected in sink as well as source configurations
Inputs can be differential or single ended
Supply voltage is 24VDC
Ambient operating temperature ranges from 0°C and 55°C
Input current is 12mA
