The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Digital output module is equipped with 4 opto-triac outputs using phase-angle control. L and N are fed to the module for zero-crossing detection. The 4 outputs are electrically isolated from one another and are used for controlling external power triacs or nonparallel thyristors.
