RS PRO Beige Polyetheretherketone PEEK Rod, 300 mm x 10 mm Diameter


This RS PRO PEEK (polyetheretherketone) rod lets you make components that are strong and durable yet lightweight. The PEEK material is resistant to high temperatures and wear, making it a good choice for producing valve timing drives and components in high-performance applications.

The rod is useful for creating steam and water mixers as it doesn't deteriorate quickly in steam or high-pressure water environments. It's commonly used for nuclear research as it can absorb over 1000 Mrads (Megarads) of radiation without losing its mechanical properties.

As part of the RS PRO range, this product has been tested for quality and reliability. It's suitable for use in harsh industrial situations and automotive settings thanks to its excellent chemical resistance and maximum working temperature of +260°C.
