RS PRO Beige Polyetheretherketone PEEK Rod, 300 mm x 8 mm Diameter
Use this PEEK (polyetheretherketone) rod from RS PRO to create components that are robust yet lightweight. Its excellent resistance to wear and high temperatures make it ideal for producing valve timing drives and parts used in high-performance applications.
The durable PEEK material won't degrade easily when used in high-pressure water environments or steam, so it's a good choice for making water and steam mixers. The unit can also absorb over 1000 Mrads (Megarads) of radiation while maintaining its mechanical properties. This makes it suitable for conducting research in nuclear applications.
This unit has been tested by engineers to ensure its quality and reliability. It has excellent resistance to chemicals and can operate in temperatures of up to +260°C, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments and automotive settings.
