This through-beam photoelectric sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range forms part of a sensing system you can use for long-range object detection in challenging conditions. This unit is a receiver, which you pair with a matching photoelectric emitter (134-8355) to achieve an effective sensing assembly. The emitter uses an LED to give out light with a wavelength of 660nm, which appears as a visible red beam that this receiver reflects back. When the beam is interrupted by an object, a signal is sent to your communication programme and triggers a preset action.
