The Jumo combined combination electrode (platinum and reference electrodes in one shaft) has a dirt repellent PTFE ring diaphragm with polymerized, high elastic gel. This prevents deposits and blockages and ensures a quick response time. A double chamber system with double diaphragm separation prevents electrode poisons like sulfides, amines or chromates from damaging the reference electrode. With the salt reserve integrated in the reference electrode, a longer service life can be obtained especially in media with lower conductivity. Only the selection of high quality materials and components enables the use, for example, in chromate reduction, nitrite oxidation, swimming pool and drinking water disinfection with heavily contaminated media. An internal pressure buffer compensates temperature related volume changes in the reference electrode space and allows process pressures of up to 13 bar. With its wide temperature range up to 135 °C.
