The TE Connectivity Mini CT Low Profile Inverted Through Board Connectors provide a small form factor solution to bring power into a conventional or aluminium-clad printed circuit board from the underside of the board. This addresses the challenges of dressing wires on the top side of LED boards resulting in low profile, less obstructed PCB layout designs. The headers mate with 1.5 mm centreline AMP Mini CT cable assemblies. They facilitate a simpler assembly of solid state LED lighting for architectural, residential, and commercial applications. The connector is positioned through a cutout or notch in PCB and sits only 1.6mm above the board and surface mount hold downs provide stability during connector mating and unmating. The low profile form factor, combined with a rounded edge design allows for minimal shadowing in lighting applications.
