Fluke 16 True RMS HVAC Digital Multimeter with Built-In Thermometer

The Fluke 16 Digital Multimeter is designed to function like a standard Multimeter and exclusive HVAC modes, unlike other models in the Fluke 10 series, the Fluke 116 comes with a built-in thermometer, allowing engineers to measure temperature and microamp mode for testing flame sensors to quickly troubleshoot problems for HVAC applications. The Fluke 116 measures resistance, continuity, frequency and capacitance. The Fluke 116 Multimeter are independently tested for safe use in CAT III 600 V Environments.

Why buy the Fluke 116 Digital Multimeter?

• VoltAlertTM Technology for intergrated non-contact voltage detection
• AutoVolt feature for automatic AC/DC voltage selection
• LoZ: Low input impedance to eliminate stray voltage ensures that ghost voltages don’t have an effect on readings
• Large white LED backlight, perfect for when you’re working in darkened areas
• True RMS meanng it will maintain its accuracy when testing on irregular AC connections
• Min/Max/Average to record signal fluctuations
• Current measurement 20A (30 seconds momentary; 10A continuous)
• Resistance , continuity, frequency and capacitance testing capability

Fluke 116 HVAC Digital Multimeter key benefits?

• Compact, Ergonomic design and can be used with one hand
• Built-in thermometer allows Temperature measurement from -40°C to +400°C using the Type K thermocouple input adaptor
• Capacitance up to 10000μF to test motor start and run capacitors
• Microamp current range for flame sensor measurement down to μA
• 4000 count auto ranging Multimeter
• 40MΩ resistance range
• 33 segment analogue bargrapgh on display
• Diode test
• Continuity test
• V-Check™ mode for safety. Automatically switches from ohm/continuity mode to measure ac or dc volts when voltages above 4.5V are present at the input
• Min/Max recording with elapsed time (ideal for recording signal fluctuations)
• Continuity capture symbolically displays open and short circuits as brief as 250μs
• Meets IEC1010-1 (safety standard) CAT III 600V
• Replacement type K thermocouple available separately accepts other type K thermocouple sensors with subminiature connectors (see accessories)

What are the typical Applications for the Fluke 116 Digital Multimeter?

FLUKE Multimeter, Built-in Thermometer, LCD Display - FLUKE-116 EUR

Pinpoint problems in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems with this multimeter from FLUKE. It has modes including resistance, capacitance and continuity, so you can get all of your testing done using just one device. It records minimum, maximum and average readings to spot signal fluctuations. The Auto-V setting automatically detects the voltage type to speed things up, while the LoZ function prevents ghost voltages from messing up your measurements. A built-in thermometer helps you take readings from heating and cooling devices, to check they're doing their jobs. Fitted with a type K thermocouple, this precision unit is capable of measuring temperatures between -40°C and +400°C with an accuracy of ±1%.
