Use this non-reversing power base from Schneider Electric's TeSys range for efficient motor control. It features a modular, plug-and-work design for fast installation and its functions are easily extended or upgraded by adding plug-in modules. The compact device takes up minimal space in a control panel and can be removed quickly and easily. Enjoy the flexibility of setting your voltage and protection parameters after the unit has been assembled and wired. It also offers the benefit of improved overload protection with fewer components.

What power connection terminals does this motor starter base have?


This advanced motor starter base has screw clamp power terminals. Terminations are easy to make using simple hand tools and there's no need to mate any wires. Because they clamp a large section of the wire, screw terminals are known for their physical and mechanical durability.


Schneider Electric TeSys U


The TeSys U is a modular system for motor control; it enables the user to create a customised solution for their control requirements, from a series of standard modules. The plug-in modules allow the assembly and wiring before the selection of motor protection parameters and control voltages, they can be created or changed in seconds by changing the plug-in modules. A host of DOL starting applications can be catered for.

Tesys model U is easy to select:


First choose a Power Base- 12A or 32A, direct on line or reversing. The power base includes 2 auxiliary contacts.
Then choose the plug-in protection module by motor full load current and control voltage required.
Additional plug in functions can be selected and added at any time.
The plug-in bases can use any LU9 type blocks see stock no. 493-8779 for base option
