RS PRO 2.2 kW Soft Starter, 460 V AC, 3 Phase, IP20


The RS PRO 2.2 kW soft starter lets you start and stop your three-phase motor smoothly. This component works by controlling one phase of the energy supply during ramp-up and increasing currents in the two non-controlled phases reducing starting torque. You'll commonly find it in industrial settings.

There's a voltage rating of 460 V (volts) and a power rating of 2.2 kW (kilowatts). You can easily mount it on a DIN (Deutsche Institut für Normung or the German Institute of Standardisation) rail and combine it with an electronic injection brake module to form a complete motor control system.

Commonly used in food production lines, it ensures smooth operation, helping to prevent damage to products when a line stops abruptly. It also reduces the maintenance of gearboxes, belts and chain drives. IP20 compliant, you can touch it with your fingers during installation.
