RS PRO 5.5 kW Soft Starter, 460 V AC, 3 Phase


This three-phase RS PRO soft starter protects your motor on start-up. It's designed to make your motor live longer and lowers your maintenance costs. The starter also provides excellent phase control and gives you a smooth motor operation.

You'll find this soft starter is made for use with three-phase AC induction motors and it lets you adjust both the starting torque and run-up voltage over a wide range. This minimises stress on your connected components and significantly reduces overload potential.

Made for a range of applications, this soft starter is commonly used for handling conveyors and packaging machinery, where a high starting torque may be needed. It can also be used together with RS PRO electronic-injection brake modules. It has a DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute for Standardisation) rail mount too.
