AVX – High Voltage FLEXITERM MLC Chips

The high voltage FLEXITERM MLC chips offer a small sized, low leakage solution for a wide range of 600V to 5000V applications. The capacitors have a capacitance range from 10 pF to 0.047 μF and can be used in a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C.

Features & Benefits

Small sized, low leakage solution

Can be used with 600V to 5000V applications

10 pF to 0.047 μF Capacitance range

-55°C to +125°C Operating temperature

Applications

Snubbers in high frequency power converters

resonators in SMPS

High voltage chip designs with low ESR’s

0805 Range

Nickel barrier terminations covered with a layer of plated Tin (NiSn). Applications include mobile phones, video and tuner designs, COG/NPO is the most popular formulation of the "temperature compensating", EIA Class I ceramic materials, X7R, X5R formulations are called "temperature stable" ceramics and fall into the EIA Class II materials, Y5V, Z5U formulations are for general purpose use in a limited temperature range, EIA Class II materials; these characteristics are ideal for decoupling applications.
