AVX 1206 X7R Dielectric Capacitors

AVX X7R Dielectric capacitors are called temperature stable" ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials. The dielectric chip usage covers a broad range of industrial applications where known changes in capacitance due to applied voltages are acceptable. The AVX Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs are available in case sizes 0402, 0805, and 0603. Voltage Range: 4 V to 500 V. Capacitance Range: 100 pF to 22 μF.

Automotive MLC capacitors cover a wide range of case sizes, capacitance values, and working voltages. These products are not suitable for automotive industry only, but for all improved reliability applications as well. Capacitors are continuously tested in QA (Quality Assurance) laboratories. Results of these tests enable to maintain superior quality.

Voltage: 16V to 500V
Case Size: 0402 to 2220
Capacitance Range: 1pF to 22uF
Dielectric: NP0 (C0G), X7R, X8R

1206 Range

C0G (NP0) is the most popular formulation of the "temperature-compensating", EIA Class I ceramic materials
X7R formulations are called "temperature stable" ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials
Y5V formulations are for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. These characteristics make Y5V ideal for decoupling applications
