RS PRO 1.5 m x 25 mm Diameter 316S31 Stainless Steel Rod

This rod is made from 316 stainless steel, an austenitic alloy with a high molybdenum content for superior corrosion resistance. Thanks to its rust-proof qualities, it's ideally suited to chemical applications where there's a high risk of pit-type corrosion. The steel material is also exceptionally tough and has a high tensile strength of 515 MPa. This means that it won't bend or break easily, even under high pressure.
As the rod is non-magnetic, you can safely use it near sensitive measuring or photographic equipment. It's also food-safe, making it suitable for applications in the food and dairy industries.
