Eaton MCB, 4 Poles, 16A Current Rating - FAZ Series - 279061 FAZ-C16/4

Protect your industrial equipment from current overload and short circuits using this MCB from Eaton. It works by cutting off power to the circuits it's connected to if it senses a potentially harmful current flow. Thanks to the toggle switch, it's quick to reset after a trip to minimise downtime. The unit has an IP40 rating when installed, so it's protected against tools and wires larger than 1mm in size, which reduces the risk of electric shocks. As it has type-C tripping characteristics, it trips at between 5 and 10 times its rated current load to ensure reliable protection. Use this device to protect your PSUs and other sensitive devices.

Features & Benefits

• Robust mechanical lifespan of at least 10,000 operations for long-lasting use
• Wide operating temperature range between -40°C and +75°C for use in demanding environments
• DIN rail mounting for hassle-free installation

How do I monitor the status of this MCB?

This MCB features a position indicator that switches between green and red to signal its operating status.

What's meant by breaking capacity?

Breaking capacity is the maximum current an MCB can interrupt without being damaged. This unit has a breaking capacity of 10kA, so it's suitable for use in heavy-duty applications.
