Eaton FAZ Series Circuit Breakers

The FAZ series by Eaton offers a wide range of quality, highly reliable and safe circuit breakers. Eaton’s FAZ DIN rail mountable circuit breaker is designed for use in control panel applications.

Features and Benefits

• The Eaton miniature circuit breaker has a current limiting design, providing short circuit interruption to reduce let-through energy, which can damage the circuit.
• Rated currents up to 63A.
• The toggle can be sealed in both the on and off position where required, and the trip-free design means that the breaker cannot be defeated by holding the handle in the on position.
• Reliable and safe operation with six levels of thermal-magnetic over-current protection.
• Red or green light indicates the contact position.
• Easy installation.
• Suitable for supplementary protection.

Eaton xEffect Mini Circuit Breaker, 2 A, 2 Pole - FAZ Series - FAZ-C2/2

This mini circuit breaker (MCB) from Eaton's FAZ series is a reliable way to prevent damage to an electrical circuit caused by overload or short circuits. As it's a C-Curve MCB, it can stop an electric current of five to ten times the rated amount of 2 A. This means that it's a good choice for protecting devices that operate at relatively low currents. You'll commonly find this type of circuit breaker used with fluorescent lighting or induction motors.

• Double poles provide protection for two circuits
• Trip-free mechanism prevents the breaker from being held in the 'on' position for added safety
• Robust polyurethane body for durability and excellent electrical insulation
• Compact dimensions of 36 (length) x 84.7 (width) x 72.6 mm (depth) for use in areas where space is limited

Why should I use an MCB instead of a fuse?

MCBs are safer and more reliable than fuses. They can also be reset for repeated use, whereas fuses need to be replaced in the event of overload or short circuits.
