Allen Bradley 1492 SP Series Miniature Circuit Breakers – Type C

Experience high performance and exceptional protection for electrical circuits with the general purpose 1492-SPM Type C Miniature Circuit Breakers by Allen Bradley.

These 1492-SPM MCB’s have type C tripping and fast breaking time to provide a higher level of safety for your application. They include screw terminals, are IP20 finger safe, and can be DIN rail mounted for optimal convenience. They are current-limiting and are available in 1, 2 or 3 pole versions, offering more versatility to meet your requirements. They also have dual terminals for wiring and bus bar flexibility. These units have excellent shock and vibration resistance which helps to prevent nuisance tripping, avoiding unnecessary downtime. Up to six accessories can be installed on the same circuit breaker to enable easy optimisation of your safety system.

Type C MCB’s are suitable for use in commercial and light industrial applications, such as fluorescent lighting and small electric motors, and are designed to trip at currents between five and ten times their rated load.

Allen Bradley Miniature Circuit Breaker, Type C, 10A Current Rating- 1492-SPM1C100

To prevent damage caused by short circuits, connect your electrical equipment to this miniature circuit breaker (MCB) from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. It has mechanical endurance of 20,000 operations, so you can count on it to last a long time without much maintenance. It has a type C curve, meaning it trips at five to ten times its 10A rated current. This makes it ideal for setups that have high-inductive loads with high switching surges. Installing the MCB into enclosed spaces is easy, thanks to its compact dimensions of 88 (height) x 74 (depth) x 17.5mm (width).

Features & Benefits

• Screw terminals ensure connections are electrically and physically secure
• IP20 (ingress protection) rating indicates the unit is finger-safe and can be handled without risk of electric shocks
• Simple mounting on a standard DIN rail

Standards and Certifications

• CE (Conformitè Europëenne)
• VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik)
• UL (Underwriters' Laboratories)
• CSA (Canadian Standards Association)

How can I tell whether the switch has tripped or not?

The switch on this miniature circuit breaker will be in the upward-facing position when on and facing down when the switch is tripped. For extra clarity, an additional indicator window shows a red bar when on and a green bar when off.
