RS PRO Dry Lubricant PTFE 400 ml, Food Safe

Need a mess-free lubricant to keep parts moving smoothly? This spray-on lube from RS PRO deposits a dry, non-staining film of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) that can stand up to the effects of oil and water. It's H1-registered from NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) as food-safe, so it can be used where incidental contact between the lubricant and food could occur.

This lubricant comes in an aerosol can and is compatible with a huge range of materials, including most metal, rubber and plastics. As it can be used at extremes of temperature right down to -85°C, it's suitable for all kinds of industrial environments.

Dry PTFE spray lubricants like this one are ideal for using in settings that can't handle wet lubes, for example, dusty paper mills or bakeries. The lubricants are commonly applied in the food processing industry and on mechanical equipment of all kinds, where they help prevent wear and extend the machinery's lifetime.
