RCDT310 & RCDT320 RCD Testers

Two RCD testers that comply with EN61557 for testing, measuring or monitoring of protective measures.

Tests 30mA, 100mA, 300mA and 500mA rated RCDs
1/2x I, I, 5x I tests standard, DC and selective RCDs
0° or 180° polarity tests on all RCDs
Selective breakers have a time delay in tripping. When selected, trip test times are extended and a 30s delay is allowed between the measurement of the fault voltage and the application of the test current
Selectable touch voltage inhibit and touch voltage display on the analogue bargraph
300Vac (25 to 45Hz) voltage measurement range
Clear 20mm high digit LCD display with analogue arc bargraph
Tough rubber armoured case with self-contained display cover that locks away underneath the instrument during use
Safety input terminal interlock - prevents unsafe connection of test leads
Safety lock-out prevents the test from operating when the circuit voltage is >300V

RCDT320 model additional features

10mA/1A RCD extended test capability
Backlit display and range selection ideal for low light environments
Ramp Test measures & displays the actual trip current of an RCD. Ideal for diagnosing nuisance tripping of RCDs
Auto testing allows remote testing from the RCD under test. The RCDT320 will automatically perform a 1//2 I, I and 5I test at both 0°and 180°. When the RCD trips the user resets it and the tester proceeds to the next test automatically. All results are displayed at the end of the test
25 to 450Hz Frequency measurement range
Optional 2-wire test leads supplied

3-phase safe - Meets the requirements of BSEN 61010-1 for safe connection to a 440V Installation Category III supply (300V phase to Earth)
Weatherproof to IP54
Dimensions (WxHxD): 190 x 75 x 140mm; Weight 980g

Megger RCD Tester, 25 to 450Hz Frequency Measurement Range, Backlit Display - RCDT300 Series - RCDT320-EN-BS

Probe your electrical safety system to make sure it's in good working condition with this RCD tester from Megger. It simulates an earth leakage to check how your device responds and if it trips the circuit. The built-in ramp testing feature lets you pinpoint the trip current of your RCD, so you can tell when nuisance tripping is happening with the wrong current flow. You can also use this handy piece of kit to measure frequencies between 25 and 450Hz.

Features & Benefits

• Display is backlit for easy viewing in low-light conditions
• Auto power-down function helps to conserve battery life

Applications

• Server rooms
• Repair workshops
• Aerospace engineering
• Automotive wiring

How accurate is this tester?

It has a voltage accuracy of ±2% and a frequency accuracy of ±0.1Hz for measurements between 25 and 199.9Hz. An accuracy of ±1Hz when measuring frequencies of 200 to 450Hz means you can be sure of all-round precise measurements.

What's the polarity selection range of this tester?

You can set the polarity check of this tester to 0 or 180° to test how safe your live and neutral wires are.
