This electronic lighting ballast from RS PRO is a reliable choice for protecting your fluorescent lamps from overheating and burnout. It can be used with any lighting equipment with universal rated voltages of 100 to 277 V AC and 160 to 300 V DC.

This unit is extremely fast-acting and preheats for a warm lamp start in just one second. As it operates at a high frequency, it operates silently and won't flicker. When your lamp has reached the end of its working life, the ballast will cut off supply automatically to protect your circuitry. You can then simply replace your old lamp and it will resume working without the need for rewiring.

This ballast can be used with any standard T5-sized lamp. It's guaranteed a service life of 80,000 hours for long-lasting performance.
