Need to detect metallic objects at close range in a high-vibration or high-shock area? This barrel-bodied inductive proximity sensor from Festo is perfect for the job. Its ingress protection (IP) rating of 67 means it can withstand temporary immersion in water and it's unaffected by oil, dirt or surface finish. The sensor detects metal within a range of 0.8 mm. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
