Use this proximity sensor from Festo to detect the presence of objects in your automated equipment. As it's an inductive sensor, it generates an electromagnetic signal to sense ferrous metals. This means that no contact with the object is needed, reducing the risk of mechanical wear and ensuring a longer lifespan. A short detection range of 2.5mm makes it suitable for close-range monitoring and use in precise applications. This unit features a yellow LED (light-emitting diode) signal, making it simple to see its status at a glance. Its body is made of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and high-alloy stainless steel for enhanced durability and resistance to heat and corrosion.
