Quickly and easily connect ribbon cable using this male IDC (insulation-displacement contact) connector from 3M. The shrouded design protects the pins, while open ends make daisy-chaining and bussing straightforward. As an ejector header connector, it enables quick disconnection. No stripping or preparation of the wires is necessary as the IDC mechanism uses a blade to slice through the insulation material on the wire and make an electrical connection with the conductor.
