SKF Hydraulic Fluid, 1L, 167 Viscosity Index -LHMF 300/1
Lubricate your rotating shaft bearings and liquid equipment with this hydraulic fluid from SKF. Its anti-abrasive properties mean it's mild on oil seal materials like nitrile butadiene rubber, Teflon and leather, which ensures straightforward mounting and greasing of parts. As it has a high viscosity index of 167, the fluid offers good resistance to friction to make your applications run smoothly and efficiently. It can be used safely with equipment that operates at substantial pressures up to 400MPa.
• ISO viscosity grade of 116Cst for maximum resistance to friction ensures moving parts are fully protected
• Flash point of +200°C for high resistance to flammable temperatures
• Pour point of -30°C for reliable use in very cold conditions
Applications
• Hydraulic pumps
• Automotive workshops
• Machine tooling
How often should hydraulic fluid be changed?
You should carry out regular checks and change the hydraulic fluid after roughly 1000 hours of operation, when there's a change in fluid colour or when you notice any abnormal noise in your equipment. It can also be changed as advised by the equipment's manual.
