RS PRO Heating Element, 400 W, 230 V AC
This quartz heating element from our trusted RS PRO range is ideally suited for processes that require medium-wave infrared radiation and rapid heater response. With an energy wavelength of 1.5 to 5.6 microns, this heater is useful in a range of domestic and commercial applications, including drying and curing.
The heating element features a 230 V AC supply voltage with a 400 W power rating. Installation is easy, with two M5 x 30 mm rear mounting bolts (supplied) and 7 mm leads. Mounting with the quartz tubes in a horizontal position will stop the heating element from sagging and shorting out.
This multi-purpose heater is best used with additional control and temperature-sensing equipment, to prevent overheating and save energy. It should always be used with sufficient thermal, electrical and mechanical barriers.
