RS PRO Grey IP67 Polyester Enclosure, 150 x 185 x 130 mm


This RS PRO enclosure/box provides you with security for both operators and equipment with insulation and protection to IP67 (EN 60529). Protection IK 10 against external mechanical impacts (EN 62262). Designed for demanding environments the enclosures are corrosion resistant and maintenance free plus are RoHS compliant. These enclosures are ideal for applications such as industry, oil refineries and steel works.

    • What is an IP rating?

    IP (Ingress Protection) levels refer to the level of protection materials such as an electrical enclosure has against solids such as dust, debris and liquids. The first digit identifies the level of protection from a physical intrusion whereas the second digit identifies the level of protection from water and other liquids. A lower IP rating (such as IP54 offers protection from limited dust ingress where as a high IP rating such as IP78 can offer complete dust proof protection plus a continuous level of protection underwater.

    This enclosure offers an IP67 rating meaning it is able to protect against immersion up to 1 m.

    If I modify the enclosure will the IP rating remain the same?

    Any modifications made to the enclosure will subsequently reduce the IP protective level.
