Sensata Cynergy3 Paddle Flow Switch, 230V, 20 Bar - LFS Series - LFS-04

This Sensata Cynergy3 paddle flow switch measures the liquid, gas or vapour levels in your system. The paddle component acts as a turbine that calculates the speed of the medium passing through it. It's a compact system that can measure a large maximum flow rate of up to 83.3L/min (litres per minute) for high levels of efficiency. As a totalising flow meter, it continually measures the medium passed through for long-term monitoring. Use this flow switch in water treatment, cooling, washing or irrigation applications.

Features & Benefits

• Maximum pressure of 20 bar for use in high-pressure systems
• Aluminium body material has high corrosion resistance to stop build-ups of rust over time
• Wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +75°C for use in cold or high-heat applications

How do I install this flow switch?

This flow switch mounts vertically using a 3/4-in BSP (British Standard Pipe) socket connection. The electrical connection is made through the cable gland inside the screw terminal.

Is the mechanism protected against water?

Yes, the flow switch has an IP65 (ingress protection) rating, so you can rest assured the device can effectively withstand exposure to low-pressure water jets from any direction.
