Sensata Cynergy3 Cable Float Switch, Direct Load, 5m - FFSMC Series -FFSMC10C

Meet the demands of regulating wastewater levels with this specially designed Sensata Cynergy3 switch. It's a durable choice that's suitable for use in turbulent fluids such as sewage water. The hermetically sealed unit can be submerged in up to 100m of water, and its rounded polyethylene body prevents the accumulation of solids. An external counterweight provides flexibility in adjusting the pivot position to suit your installation needs. This heavy-duty device will switch a maximum direct load of 10A and operate safely in up to 10bar of pressure.

Features & Benefits

• Suitable for environments where wide and/or rapid fluctuations in ambient fluid temperature occur
• Fitted with 5m PVC cable for installation flexibility
• External counterweight supplied to adjust the pivot position

How does a float switch work?

A float switch is most frequently used in a tank to regulate the minimum and maximum liquid levels. When the fluid level reaches a minimum level, the switch signals a pump to operate and refill the tank. When the maximum liquid level is reached, the switch tells the pump to stop supplying. This means the fluid level in the tank is maintained within a pre-set range.
