The KRATOS SAFETY downward evacuation device is designed for rapid rescue operations, featuring a robust aluminium alloy and high-strength steel construction. It includes a 9.6 mm diameter semi-static kernmantle rope with double figure-of-8 knots for karabiner connection and comes with two hooks (ref. FA 50 220 21). The device offers a controlled descent speed of less than 2 m/sec regardless of user weight (up to 141 kg) and supports a maximum descent height of 250 m. It is equipped with an automatic, redundant brake system and complies with EN 341:2011-1B standards.
