IDEAL® Strain Relief Boots for CAT6 and thinner CAT6A cables are compatible with standard sized RJ45 connectors and help to protect the modular plug body, especially the latch tab, from external handling damage. Made of flexible PVC, these boots help to maintain the cable bend radius and limits conductor movement inside of the connector that can lead to continuity failures over time.
