IDEAL® Shielded Feed-Thru RJ45 connectors for CAT5e cables simplify cable assembly by enabling the user to quickly verify the conductors are in the correct order before crimping the connector. Compatible with twisted pair cables with an insulated conductor range of 0.035” - 0.041” diameter. When used with the IDEAL® FT-45™ tool (30-495), the wire is precision cut flush with the modular plug’s face, thanks to its patented design that prevents accidental contact between adjacent conductors or with the mating jack. This connector features an integrated metal shell that ensures a continuous path for cable shielding, allowing it to pass through the connector and into the device’s shielded port.
