Belden F/UTP Cat5e Networking Ethernet Cable, 100m Length, 24AWG - 1633ENH.00B100

Increase the speed of your internet connection and data transfer with this Cat5e (category 5 enhanced) Ethernet cable from Belden. It has a low attenuation of 2dB (decibels) to ensure reliable performance and minimal signal distortion. You can use this cable in your demanding IT systems thanks to its capacitance of 50pF/m (farad per metre), which lets it collect and store high levels of charge. It has four pairs of unshielded twisted wires with polyolefin insulation, which offers protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). As this cable comes with unterminated ends, you can install it horizontally or vertically according to your system needs.

Features & Benefits

• Durable low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) outer sheath for safe use in demanding environments

• Solid conductor strand type to increase electric current resistance

• High voltage rating of 48V for use in demanding IT environments

Applications

• Harsh networking environments

• High-data-transfer IT systems

• Offices

Are Cat5e cables better than Cat5 cables?

The cable you use will depend on the demands of your system. Cat5e cables are often chosen over Cat5 cables as they work faster and are more efficient when ignoring crosstalk and EMI. This means that Cat5e cables are ideal for more demanding data-transfer systems.
