RS PRO 10 mm Stud Antic-Static Wrist Strap


The anti-static wrist strap from RS PRO’s range is designed to help safely ground the wearer and prevent any build-up of static in their body. This should ensure their safety when working in an Electrostatic Protected Areas (EPA) in a factory or on a construction site.

The product is designed to be worn close to the skin to establish a path to the ground. It's conveniently adjustable and features a patented crochet design for extra comfort when worn for long periods of time. The metal plate is fully covered to prevent allergic reactions. A 10 mm press-stud means the strap can be put on and taken off easily.

The strap complies with European safety standard EN 61340-5-1 for ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection and should be used with a grounder such as a cord. Straps such as these are commonly used in the automotive, computing and electronics industries.
