RS PRO Anti-Static Wrist Strap
This anti-static disposable wrist strap from the RS PRO range provides reliable and cost-effective grounding for visitors or temporary workers to factories or building sites.
The strap is made from a non-woven fabric and is adjustable, so it's suitable for all sizes. A hypoallergenic adhesive provides 360° contact with the skin to minimise skin-to-band resistance. The four-inch grounding end comes with adhesive that's used to secure the conductive strip to any convenient bare grounding surface. The strap’s current-limiting resistance is built into the plastic ribbon below the wristband.
The adhesive is a water-based acrylic and designed for one-time use. Each product is individually packaged in a clear poly envelope. The strap complies with European safety standards EN 61340-5-1. It can be used in factory and engineering situations, but should not be used with equipment operating at voltages exceeding 250 V AC.
