The Sensirion SGP41 is a digital MOx based gas sensor for measuring VOX and NOx. Sensirion’s CMOSens® technology offers a complete sensor system on a single chip featuring a digital I2C interface and temperature-controlled micro hotplates. Providing you with a VOC (volatile organic compound) and a NOx (nitrogen oxides) based indoor air quality signal.

The sensing element and gas Index algorithm feature robustness against contaminating gases that are present in real-world applications, supporting long-term stability as well as low drift. The Sensirion SGP41 comes in a small DFN package, great for applications where space is limited. The air quality sensor has low power consumption. Applications include air purifiers, air quality monitoring and demand-controlled ventilation systems.

Evaluation kit SEK-SVM4x for SGP40/41 is also available, see RS 234-8989 the kit contains an SVM development board equipped with the 1 x SGP41, 1 x SHT40. 1 x UART to USB adapter cable, jumper wire cable set.

Recommended operating conditions 0 to 90 %RH, -10 to +50 °C
Supply voltage 1.7 to 3.6 V
DFN 6-pin package 2.44 x 2.44 x 0.85 mm3
Device to device variation VOC ±15 VOC Index points or % (the larger)
Device to device variation NOx ±50 NOx Index points or % (the larger)

Notes

For VOC and NOx Index outputs customers need to integrate the Gas Index Algorithm (available on github) on their microcontroller.
