It connects conductive equipment to the ground to channel excess current away when faults occur, protecting machinery and reducing downtime.     What different types of earthing straps are there?


    There are two types: one is for users and the other is for direct use with equipment. You can wear an antistatic grounding strap around your wrist and connect it with a clamp to a ground conductor. Equipment earthing straps go around a device and connect to a ground conductor through a wire.
