RS PRO 35 VA DIN Rail Transformer, 230 V AC Primary 1 x, 24 V AC Secondary


This DIN rail transformer from RS PRO works with continuous electrical loads to prevent short-circuiting and overloading. Designed to DIN standards (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute of Standardisation), it has also been electrical and flash tested for an extra level of safety. It provides additional protection against electrical shock.

The transformer comes with pre-drilled screw holes for easy mounting onto a standard 35 mm (TS35) DIN rail. The plastic casing is IP20 rated for basic dust protection and is safe to touch. It's not waterproof though, so it's best for indoor settings.

These kinds of transformers are typically used in connection with internal building jobs, as well as in factories and workshops, for example for heating and temporary lighting.
