The Jumo Thermometer has a case made of stainless steel (material no. 1.4301) with a diameter of 60 mm. It is installed in a panel by means of a holding strap. The measuring system used operates according to the fluid expansion principle. The temperature can be read on a white scale with black lettering, which is protected by a glass plate. The case has protection class IP55 and can be used in limit temperatures from -30 to 70 °C, the rated position is arbitrary. At the end of the installed copper capillary there is a smooth probe with a diameter of 6 mm, which is also made of copper. In order to be able to record the temperature optimally, the probe must be completely immersed in the medium to be measured. It can be fixed with the help of a separate thermowell (not included in the delivery). The capillary outlet is located at the back of the thermometer case.
