Fluke Current Clamp, 3000A Maximum AC Current, 178mm Maximum Conductor Size - I3000 FLEX-4PK

This current clamp is a flexible Rogowski-coil probe designed to measure alternating current in industrial and field environments. It connects via a BNC interface to compatible instruments and is intended for medium-voltage distribution and maintenance tasks where a flexible sensor and a long lead improve access to conductors.

Features and Benefits:

• Measures up to 3000A allowing assessment of high current circuits
• Accuracy of ±1% delivering precise comparative readings
• Flexible coil accepts conductors to 178mm for awkward runs
• 2m cable provides extended reach to test equipment
• CAT III 600V rating suitable for distribution-level work
• Battery operation on 2xAA supports remote portability

Applications

• Suitable for fault-finding on distribution panels in substations
• Ideal for load surveys on three-phase installations
• Used with handheld analysers via BNC to log AC waveforms
• Can be used for commissioning large motors and generators
• Suitable for electricians performing on-site current diagnostics

How long will it operate between battery changes?

It provides an operational duration of approximately 400h on standard alkaline cells.

What connector is required on the measuring instrument?

The probe uses a BNC connector and requires an input with BNC coupling to accept its signal.

Which safety environment is it rated for?

It is certified to CAT III 600V for use in fixed installations and distribution systems.

Which standards does it comply with?

It meets the listed British and IEC-derived standards including BS EN 61010-1:2001 and BS EN 61326:1998+A1+A3.
