Fluke Current Clamp, 100A Maximum AC Current, 11.8mm Maximum Conductor Size - 80I-110S

This current clamp measures AC and DC currents and outputs a proportional voltage for connection to scope, analyser or meter inputs via a BNC interface. It is intended for use alongside test tools that accept BNC connections and supports measurement of conductors commonly found in industrial and commercial electrical systems.

Features & Benefits

• Measures 0.1–100A AC or DC for broad current coverage
• High-accuracy probe ±3% of reading Plus 50mA for precise readings
• Bandwidth DC–100kHz to capture fast signals and harmonics
• Output levels 100mV/A and 10mV/A for flexible interfacing
• 1.6m cable with BNC adaptor for convenient connection to instruments
• Safety-rated CAT II 600V and CAT III 300V for specified installation categories

Applications

• Suitable for power quality analysis with oscilloscopes and analysers
• Ideal for commissioning and fault diagnosis in automation systems
• Used for load studies and harmonic measurement on inverters and drives
• Can be used for preventative maintenance on industrial electrical panels
• Used with multimeters converted to BNC inputs for portable field checks

What is the maximum conductor size the clamp accepts?

The jaw accommodates conductors up to 11.8mm diameter enabling measurements on single-core cables and small busbars.

How is the clamp powered and how long will it run between battery changes?

It operates from a single IEC 6LR61 battery and provides approximately 55h of operation under typical conditions.

Which output amplitude should I use for higher resolution on low currents?

Use the 100mV/A output setting when measuring in the 0.1–10A range to improve signal amplitude for small currents.

What environmental temperatures can it tolerate during use?

The device is specified for operation between 0°C and 50°C, suitable for most indoor industrial environments.
