RS PRO Janus Ratchet Crimping Tool Kit

The RS PRO Janus is an ergonomic crimping tool with self-adjusting dies for producing a trapezoid crimp profile on wire ferrules 0.14-10.0 mm²/AWG 26-8. This durable ratchet crimping tool allows cutting, stripping and crimping to be easily achieved with minimal handle force.

Crimping tools are used to join two pieces of metal together by depressing one or both into a crimp and are often used for joining a connector to a cable. A full cycle ratcheting hand tool such as this one ensures optimal crimps and is ideal for insulated cables.

This versatile crimper features rotating dies so that ferrules can be crimped from either side or the front of the tool making it ideal for both bench work and cabinet installation. With a life span of 50,000 cycles, this durable crimp tool ensures a consistent and reliable crimp will be achieved even under tough working conditions and heavy use.
